whattup everyone que paso?   Marcos is getting baptized!!! His baptism is the 26th of this month and he is SO ready! He comes to every lesson, activity, or class we have, asks the most insightful questions, and always does thr invitations we give him! This man is pure goodness and makes everyone happy! Even this member that i have not seen smile or laugh once since ive been here was laughing and smiling after 2 minutes of chatting with marcos! My heart is so full and i am so excited for him! Continue to keep him in prayers though because Satan really works his hardest during this time! Our other friends are doing good too!  Literally everyone here is Hispanic and a good majority of them don't speak any/very minimal english. So one of the ways we find new people to teach is we teach an English class Wednesday and Saturday nights and on facebook live. Lots of people from all over Central America live here. another week has passed which means another email!  We went on exchanges this saturday with the STLs from Thousand Oaks! Sister Mansfield is actually the coolest! The day was filled with spicy juice, fangirling over taylor swift, guitar ballads, and almost being attacked by a duck. We got to have a lesson with the cutest, sweetest, oldest ladies ever! Sylvia and terri are so adorable! Apparently how the visits go every time is we sit in the hottest room in the house, Terri makes us spicy juice and we give Sylvia a talk to read out loud to us for the next 45 minutes. Except she talks so so soft and so incredibly slow. we couldnt hear her at all! But it was the best visit ever! And best part if the whole day was i didnt have to ride a bike at all!  Also im pretty positive my spanish is actually getting worse so thats fun. It's been kicking my butt for realz so  We did an entire mission wide zoom (so probably about 150+ missionaries) for all the new baby missionaries to bear...

WOOP WOOP hi guys!! I genuinely miss you all so dang much! How is everyone?! Lets see whats new here in Simi.  We've been teaching free english classes for anyone who wants to learn! Which is so funny cause its basically English class for them and Spanish class for me! Theyre literally so cute ! We work on english all class and they help me with my spanish and we always do a spiritual thought after and some of these guys havent ever prayed before! Its so fun teaching it especially cause i can only explain it in simple words (cause its all i know how to say) but they understand it! And it reminds me that sometimes we complicate things! Prayer is actually simple and easy and a way we get to talk to God!
