woah hace mucho tiempo verdad? Yeah no need to worry guys I am still alive!  I always feel like i have so much i need to write about and then i get here and my mind goes blank and im like "what did i even do these past weeks?" -Elder bragg of the Seventy came to speak to our mission! We talked about the hacer vs saber of the gospel. Hacer means to do and saber means to know. What we need to know vs what we need to do - had two awesome exchanges with hermanas moon and demordaunt which were so fun. On my exchange with hermana moon we had 3 lessons and all 3 of them went over an hour and 15 minutes because our friends just talk so much! And on my exchange to Paso Robles with Hna Demordaunt we taught a lesson with a full Mixteco Mariachi band playing next to us. It was awesome  - accidentally had a first lesson with someone be the Law of Chastity and Word of Wisdom. woooah im halfway there and im for sure living on a prayer. i feel like no amount of sleep will help me recover from this week  Gotta give ya the speed run cause i dont even remember half the things  - I hit 9 months tomorrow, on the downhill now - had a pretty intense confrontation with a homeless man and lets just say i learned some new spanish profanity luckily our friend hector was there and walked us to a safer area - roadtripped 3 hours to Oxnard with the STLs and got to spend the day in Oxnard!   - this old woman couldnt figure out how to open her locked door so i taught her through her mail slot - we had a lesson with our friend Hector and he'd said he'd been reading the book of mormon and that he liked the story about nephi and lehi which we were so excited about! And then he said something about how he liked the story of mormon handing the plates down to moroni and we were like "hector how far have you read??" And he was like oh i read the whole thing ...

Hey hey hey! This week has aged me 20 years Ill start with the biggest news which was we had transfers last week! And because my mission president has a vendetta against me he took away my favorite person and stuck her in my favorite place. Hna barker went to simi valley, im still in SLO and im training kinda. My companion is Hermana Nielson! Shes been a missionary for a little over 6 months but has been a spanish missionary for 3 days. She opened her transfer email and got the news that she would be switching to spanish and im the one to train her. Which is slightly worse than just regular training cause at least trainees have some sort of mtc experience! But im fully confident in her capabilities and shes doing awesome!  And God and the Gift of Tongues has pulled through for me and somehow we've stayed alive! Anyways gotta get back to grinding spanish study but heres a spiritual thought  One of my favorite things to teach our friends is that God has a plan for us. But j...
