MTC Life! Wk 1

Hola mis amigos! As you can tell my Spanish is coming in greeeeeeat! Gonna apologize in advance for any spelling errors and also going to blame that on the fact that I'm rocking the Samsung life. Last week I started my mission and began HomeMTC which was pretty epic, but very long and my attention span isn't very good on zoom. I met my district online and they're quite literally the best district to ever exist! And my companion Hermana Anderson is also from Meridian! We lived 15 minutes from eachother and did some of the home classes together! She's the best!



I said some really hard goodbyes this week and cried like a baby saying goodbye to my family but I know it's all going to be amazing! MTC life is crazy and I didn't think i could love my district and teachers more and then I got to meet them in person! Feels like we've been friends forever and we're already feeling sad about saying goodbye in 5  weeks! I've seen so many people I know from home here which is so much fun! Shoutout to elder Cromar cause I see him everywhere and it's my favorite! (I even brought him stuff from home)



Pday is the best! Hermana anderson and i dominated at spikeball (sorry Elder Saunders and Elder Anglesey) Our district got to do baptisms at the temple which was so much fun! Basically it's all just been the best ever so far! 



We've had the best lessons here and I don't have a ton of time but my favorite thought was a quote by President Monson that says "Your Heavenly Father loves you! That love never changes. It is not influenced by your appearance, by your possessions, or by the amount of money you have in your bank account. It is not changed by your talents or abilities. It is simply there.it is there for you when you are happy or sad, discouraged or hopeful, His love is there for you whether or not you feel you deserve love. It is always there."

buenooooooo!  I got transferred!!!! I am now in la tierra prometida! The promise land! Good ole Oxnard, California!  Packing after 4 months in an area was a STRUGGLE. Did I have to throw my entire body weight on my suitcase to zip it up? Yes, yes I did. Plot Twists And Deja Vu

sorry its been a while i just truly can't remember what happened in the past few weeks but here we go this is my last full week as a missionary! WHAT?!?! yeah i know its crazy. this last week has been full of dejavu and plot twists! - if any of you were here for season 8 of The Mission my costar was Hermana DeMordaunt! (Who I also came into the mission with and we knew each other from before the mission too!) well thursday morning we get a call from President Rodriguez saying that Hermana DeMordaunt will be moving in with us for the rest of the transfer because of a safety situation (not sure why they chose to send her to lompoc for safety but...) i'm so stoked to have her!!! we get to end the mission together which is cutie of us. The Trio has been causing chaos here tho so its a party - the members are trying to make sure I don't fit into any of my dresses.
