Sorry if youve gotten 50 emails from me in the past 30 minutes but its not working so i dont know if it's actually sending

at night in cali the temp gets down to like low 50s and im FREEZING!! California has turned me into a baby! Back home, thats shorts weather! (Sorry utah, idaho, wyoming friends)

Christmas is in full swing, we set up our mini christmas tree in our house and put up cute decorations (thanks mom!!)

And all the missionaries in simi valley got together for a service and we got to move christmas trees. 691 christmas trees to be exact! They were all in a giant truck driven from oregon and we unloaded all of them! We were covered with dirt and scratches after.

We got to go to Crèche (i think it means manger in french) last weekend! Its a multi faith activity that theyve been doing for 17 years! Its a 3 day event and they have lots of tables with tooooons of nativities from all over the world! And they taught everyone about jewish traditions and churches from all over simi preformed musical numbers for 3 days! It was incredible we had catholic churches and jewish and christians and so many people came! I also got to tell a man that we dont believe that aliens are behind the moon and coming to liquify our brains, much to his disappointment (everyone knows they're on Mars duh)

We've also been helping set up for a huge activity in thousand oaks called Night in Bethlehem for this weekend and you guys. Its incredible! The amount of attention to detail and the sets that they use are insane! If anyone is in cali and wants to come i highly recommend! We get to help translate for our friends who come and im so excited!

We put our friend Beni on date it was amazing!!! I'm so excited for him! His baptism is the 29th and he was like "what a perfect way to start the new year" and I almost shed tears it was so cute!

I WANT EVERY WEEK TO BE MISSION TOUR!!! woooohoooooooo

We got to hear from Elder Kyle McKay (who gave an aaaaaamazing talk in April 2019 conference) and Elder Alexander Dushku and their wives. And listen up folks cause ive never felt so motivated in my entire life! The spirit was SO strong all three days even over zoom! Tears were definitely almost shed. And me and hna bagley were asked to have a Companion study with Sister Dushku and she is so kind and had so many amazing insights to give!

My favorite thing we talked about was the way we talk. If we tell ourselves we're not gonna teach anyone, we'll never get a baptismnever learn spanish, or anything like that, then we'll never be able to do it. We have to do our part and God will do His. In Luke 5 Jesus is talking with the fishermen.

"4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

10 And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him."

After an unsuccessful night of effort, Peter’s expert judgment told him a final effort was useless. But he had faith, trusted in Jesus, and he lowered the net anyways. The number of fish taken in that single attempt strained the strings until they began to break and filled two boats until they began to sink. In that small ship Peter kneeled, stunned, at the feet of the Master. Jesus said ‘Henceforth thou shalt catch men.’

Go break the nets

Other one liners that I'm just gonna leave with ya

♡ disciplined is greater than motivation

♡ its not, youre serving for two years and youre blessed for two years. Its, you serve for two years and youre blessed forever

♡ He is not asking for patrial obedience of even mostly obedient. You cannot customize obedience. Mid obedience brings mid blessings
