These past 3 weeks have been awesome! Ive had this email in my drafts for forever but i thought it was stupid but everyone (my mom and grandparents) yell at me for not sending something so here we are

Highlight

We had an awesome lesson with our friend Agustín and president and hermana Rodriguez! The spirit was so strong and President taught so beautifully! We made an action plan to help him prepare for baptism! 

Lowlight:

Few days later he called us saying HE MOVED TO SAN FRANCISCO. to say i was triste is an understatement 

Highlight: we FINALLY found a ride to church for our friend Lupe

Lowlight: we called to confirm on saturday night and she said she was excited! We hung up and realized she needed some other info so we called her literally 30 seconds after we hung up and she told us she felt like she needed to go back to the church she was raised in. But it was thanks to us that she has jesus back in her life and we conviced her to go back to the catholic church 

Ok the rest are actually highlights haha

- keep pur friends Francisco and Marisol in your prayers! Theyve been being taught for foreeeeever and finally accepted the invitation to be baptized! Also if anyone has ideas for how to keep a 4 and 3 year old calm during church PLEASE send them my way. Their kids take 5 years off my life every sunday 

- also our friends antonio and luis! 

- We met an AMAZING woman named Gisela! She had been taught in the past by other missionaries forever ago but immediately let us inside and said she'd been thinking about us recently and wanted to start going to church again and had pulled out her book of mormon to read again! She was like and youre here now and God is not a God of coincidences so i want to be baptized. She came to our other friends baptism and church and has made friends with all our members already! 

- had exchanges with hermana demordaunt and im so incredibly thankful for her! The whole day i was just in awe of her and i know God put her in my life for a reason! I strive to be the missionary she is! We had really awesome lessons and the spirit was so strong in all of them! 

- We were getting ready for bed and just hear a giant BOOM outside followed by 7 car alarms, this usually happens like semiweekly so

- we got to be apart of a really incredible lesson with the english sisters and their friend Angel. It was such an amazing lesson and the spirit literally almost brought me to tears! He started taking the lessons with the sisters after his friend passed away who was a member. She was only 18 when she passed but her light is still carried on and influencing others! Angel has one of the strongest testimonies ive seen but could use some prayers! 

- the past couple district activities we've like just made food. last week we had a barbecue and this week we made pirozhki! Its a russian dish thats basically like a deep fried scone pocket filled with meat and onions and peppers and its soooo good ill make it for yall when I'm home 

- hna cox and I went on a run (never again)

Alma 34:8 

"And now, behold, I will testify unto you of myself that these things are true. Behold, I say unto you, that I do know that Christ shall come among the children of men, to take upon him the transgressions of his people, and that he shall atone for the sins of the world; for the Lord God hath spoken it."

I'm so grateful that I know this and even more thankful for the opportunity I have to share this knowledge
