Bring It On

an STL - Sister Training Leader. basically in charge of all the sisters in the zone and goes on exchanges and whatnot

training - when new missionaries come into the mission they need a trainer to teach them the ropes of the mission and the work and the standards and the language

white washing - normally when theres transfers usually one missionary stays in the area and one leaves. so that theres at least one missionary who knows the area and the friends. well white washing is when both missionaries there leave and they stick two new missionaries there.

bikes - when they dont have enough cars they stick you on bikes again

mixteco - a dialect in Oaxaca and Guerrero that isnt written, only spoken. also sounds nothing like spanish.

any one of these can be pretty difficult to do in a transfer. and yall

IM DOING ALL 5. yep you heard that right. im an stl, im training a brand new missionary, pink washing the area(meaning elders were there before), on bikes, aaaaaand learning mixteco.
never been more overwhelmed and never been more pumped. bring it on

things from this week
- President Rodriguez followed the trend of whenever i love an area he kicks me out but whenever im ready to leave he keeps me there forever. So i got booted out of Oxnard.
- im a mom! picked up mi hija on Wednesday and we didnt get back to our new area, Santa Maria, and apartment until 8 at night.
- said sad goodbyes to Oxnard
- president literally worked magic with our car and fit all the suitcases
- hopped a fence to get into an apartment complex. in a dress.
- met a baby named Dora. life complete
- we got to be witnesses for the elders baptism after church yesterday, and after they were confirmed and received the gift of the holy ghost, both the husband and wife cried so hard. the husband sat in the chair for 20 min just sobbing, he felt the spirit so strong. it was awesome
- my trainer hermana bagley met my trainee in the airport!!! how sick is that?! she was at the airport the same time as the missionaries and met her! full circle moment!

i know theres more that happened buuuuuut i dont remember. guess ive just biked too hard.

everyome go read this article its so good! my favorite part is

"We don’t need to doubt ourselves. The fact that we are here, learning and growing and facing many different circumstances each day, shows that God trusted us enough to allow us to come to earth. It also shows that He trusted us to rely on Him and use our best righteous judgment to make good decisions, to find truth, and to overcome our struggles to return to Him.

When we are struggling spiritually, we can trust ourselves and our experiences by using our agency to act in faith. To choose to believe. To decide to continue forward, knowing that even if we don’t know everything yet, we know enough to keep going."
Do You Trust Yourself?

Love you aaaaaaaaaaaaall!!! have a good one!
