Un Año?!?!?!

in the past 2 weeks we...
- had Mission Leadership Council which was soooo good! i felt so powered up and like i could go baptize nations
- other missionaries had some car mishaps and we were the victims thrown into the mess so now we're on bikes.
-then we got a car back for 1 day and then they took it and now we're on bikes again
- got my hands on a sourdough starter. but i think i ruined it sooooo
- had exchanges with sister johnson! she is absolutely the cutest and we had so much fun! we went to the mall and asked people what brought them joy so we could make a cute video and yall talking to people in english is scary. people are scary.
- exchanges with sister lomu were SO FUN! shes from tonga and had the wiiiildest stories! it was a crazy day
- also did exchanges with hermana Van Brocklin! shes in her last transfer which is so wild! i love learning from her and getting to laugh with her! the day was absolutely chaos but so epic. we did have to choke down a big cup of calabaza. which was not fun but we did it
- some of my members from Simi came to visit me and it revived my soul! i missed lupillo and fernando and pray i go back to simi soon!
- i hit a year in the mission! hna Demordaunt and i came into the mission together and hit a year together! que precioso! we were served so much that day! im so grateful for the missionaries ive become friends with here and all the love they show. i literally cant believe i only have 6 months left. the past year hasnt been without its challenges but i wouldnt trade it for anything in the world. the true joy i get to share with others makes anything else worth it
- GISELA GOT BAPTIZED!!! this woman is incredible! i talked about her a few emails back but we werent sure if wed be able to teach her everything and get everything ready for the baptism! we had a visit with her on Wednesday and went in to the lesson planning on telling her we'd push the baptism back a week but God was like "what are yall thinking shes MORE than ready! get your act together" so we sped planned a baptism and it was SO GOOD! im so happy God crossed my path with Gisela!
