Plot Twists And Deja Vu

sorry its been a while i just truly can't remember what happened in the past few weeks but here we go

this is my last full week as a missionary! WHAT?!?! yeah i know its crazy.
this last week has been full of dejavu and plot twists!

- if any of you were here for season 8 of The Mission my costar was Hermana DeMordaunt! (Who I also came into the mission with and we knew each other from before the mission too!) well thursday morning we get a call from President Rodriguez saying that Hermana DeMordaunt will be moving in with us for the rest of the transfer because of a safety situation (not sure why they chose to send her to lompoc for safety but...) i'm so stoked to have her!!! we get to end the mission together which is cutie of us. The Trio has been causing chaos here tho so its a party

- the members are trying to make sure I don't fit into any of my dresses. I've been downing like 8 tacos at Hermana Aracelys
- we've had so many weird interactions lately. We had a guy come up to us and the elders and shouted "WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?" and apparently "God" wasn't a good enough answer cause he just walked away mumbling something to himself about the FBI
- we also met JesusChrist. yep you heard that right. a man legally changed his name to jesus christ.

- my comp got her hands on the Halo, Mario Kart, and Minecraft soundtracks. while they are amazing songs....i miss KLove

- i got to go on exchanges in santa maria with hna ellison and demordaunt and it was so fun! So trippy to be back in my old area and i got to see hna powell again!!! if youre reading this, I LOVE YOU

- I don't remember if i wrote about it, but our friend jose martin backed out of his baptism the day of, which was reeeeally sad. We met with him after and he said he really wanted to keep learning, he just didn't feel ready. After that he kinda was just giving excuses when we tried to have lessons and wasn't answering our messages so we just decided to give him some space for a few weeks. well the few weeks were up so we went to the lot where his trailer is and the giant wood fence was locked! you're a fool if you think that stopped us. We hopped that thing in no time and tocar'd that puerta. and he thought it was so funny we put so much effort into seeing him again and we set up another visit. He's going through some hard things right now so everyone pray for jose martin!

- i'm so blessed and spoiled and got to have Pamela visit me AND the Hursts!!! i love the people i've met here and im so sad to leave them.

- our recent convert isaac is truly the best ever. he was baptized, and the next week he received the priesthood and the week after that he blessed the sacrament and bore his testimony for fast sunday and got a calling to be a branch missionary and he goes to lessons with the missionaries like every day! we had a lesson with him last week to get him ready to go on the branch temple trip and after the entire lesson and after we extend the invitation to meet with the branch president to get his temple recommend he whispers "can i tell you a secret? i already got my temple recommend hehe" we were like oooooof course you did

i don't know if i'll remember to write next week but thatll be my last pday!

I was reading in Preach My Gospel this week and i loved this quote about the Atonement. it says
"Although we are imperfect and may fall short again, there is more grace, love, and mercy in Jesus Christ than there is failure, flaw, or sin in us. God is always ready and eager to embrace us as we turn to Him and repent."

no explanation needed.

I love ya so much! thanks for reading!
